Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Credit
Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Credit
You may earn credit by exam by submitting a qualifying score on an Advanced Placement (AP) exam. This page outlines the process for submitting and confirming AP scores and the Notre Dame credit granted for qualifying scores on accepted exams.
Submitting AP Scores
Notre Dame usually receives AP scores from the College Board during the first week of July. In July, you can verify that First Year Advising has received your AP exam scores using the “My Test Scores” app on InsideND. Any credit that has been granted for AP exams can be viewed using the “Grade History” app on InsideND.
If any of your AP scores do not appear in “My Test Scores” by the second week of July:
- Sign into your College Board account at https://apscore.collegeboard.org/scores/
- Click “Download score report” in the upper right corner of the page
- Save the score report as a PDF with your first and last name and ND ID (your nine-digit 902 number) as the file name. (Example: Jane Doe 902xxxxxx)
- Submit the PDF of your score report using this form. (The form will be turned on in July.)
