Sample First-Year Student Schedules

The table below offers sample first-year student schedules organized by college or school and, when relevant, by major. Use these recommendations as a starting point as you explore which courses are the right choices for you.

These sample schedules do not include the required FYS 10101 Moreau First Year Experience course or any corequisite labs, tutorials, or discussions.

These sample schedules list five academic courses (3 or more credits each) for both semesters. While five academic courses and Moreau is the standard course load for most first-year students, you might have the option to take four academic courses depending on your college or school and your total number of credits. See the Number of Courses and Credits page for more information.
