About the Lecturer

Matthew Morrison is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame.

He received the 2018 NACADA Global Excellence in Academic Advising Award for Faculty. He obtained his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering (2010), the M.S. degree in Computer Engineering (Thesis, 2012), and the Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (Dissertation, 2014), all from the University of South Florida. Prior to his academic career, he served as a Nuclear Electronics Technician in the United States Navy from 1999-2005. He graduated from Mount Saint Joseph College in Baltimore, MD in 1998.
